The blankets had come from the all-new Rio hatchback Kia month before its official debut at the 2016 Paris motor show.

South Korean brand has released a series of official pictures and information is limited to the fourth generation of small cars only a few days after issuing a teaser sketch.

Rio sharp exterior design is highlighted by a leaner and more extensive 'Tiger Nose' grille (a signature that was first seen on the Sportage SUV and may be a common element in all future Kia models) and a bi-modal complex lamp with integrated U -shaped LED driving lights at the front, the new-look LED lights tail at the rear as well as the body panels are tight and the overall attitude similar to A3 Audi, which is not surprising considering Rio together stylish design centers Germany and California in collaboration with its headquarters in Namyang, South Korea.

While the new design hides it well, the fourth-generation Rio is physically larger than the car it replaces, measuring 4065mm overall length, 1725mm in width and ride on a wheelbase 2580mm - an increase of 15mm, 5mm and 10mm respectively - all of which creates more interior space.

Among the pictures, Kia also revealed that the cabin was very updating Rio again mimics some elements familiar to Audi, such as multi-media tablet style floating in the middle of the dash and the main control tilted slightly towards the driver.

Although Kia has not revealed the details of the value of the model that will be available when it arrives in showrooms local early next year, has insisted that it is available with a choice of black or gray seat trim fabric, or artificial leather black or gray in class models higher. Optional 'Red Pack' is aimed at sprucing up the cabin and appeal to younger buyers with leather-trimmed seats with artificial red.

Mechanical details for Rio is expected to be confirmed at the Paris Motor Show on September 29, with the possibility it will feature more fuel-efficient turbo-charged engine is connected up with the dual-clutch transmission in an upscale variant.
