|2017 Audi A4 Sedan Review: LUXURY, ELEGANT AND OUTSTANDING HORSE POWER|
Many things happened in 2017 Audi A4. Completely redesigned this year, it was bigger (and roomier) but lighter than last year's model. A lot of engineering and technological improvements also resulted in a luxury sedan that is more fun to drive, more comfortable to spend time in and be able to keep up with ever-advancing the automotive world today. What is perhaps a little surprising, though, is that you may not be able to see all this just by looking at it.
A quick side-by-side view of old and new A4s can reveal new, trapezoidal grille is more and are generally straight lines and angles that replaces the previous curve. But still, in common with its predecessor and other Audi models is obvious. Instead, the biggest aesthetic changes can be found on the inside, where the all-new design retains Audi's reputation for creating innovative cabin perfect quality. Revised MMI infotainment system, with its updated controller, dash-top display and virtual cockpit gauges provided a major step forward both aesthetically and functionally.

Under the hood A4, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder new engine brings 32 more horses for the show. With 258 hp sent to either the front or all four wheels (Quattro) through a seven-speed automated manual transmission is the new standard, the A4 is a full second quicker from zero to 60 mph than before, which fits with the current track star segment, the BMW 328i.
As expected in the highly competitive small luxury sedan segment, the A4 offers safety features and new entertainment. Most only help keep up with the Joneses (A4 previously appeared before the current boom of high technology to avoid accidents tech), although pedestrian and vehicle collision warning and braking system that comes standard is a nice touch. A rearview camera, CarPlay Apple, Android Auto and keyless ignition and entry is another standard items which tend optional on other cars, along with leather seats and a sunroof.

The previous generation A4 is an interesting, well-rounded sedan that managed to stay competitive even as a new competitor out over the last few years. We now turn to the concept of re-A4, and we must say we were impressed. It has a stylish interior and quality to stand up against the elegant Mercedes-Benz C-Class and impeccably built Lexus IS; performance and fuel economy to challenge the BMW 3 Series; and even some of the value offered by cars like the Acura TLX. Meanwhile, the drive with confidence and calmness to make the most suitable buyers feel connected to the road. It is imperative to test? You bet.
